App Store's blank page - final solution

Hi,

There is simple solution for that case (forWindows 7, 64):

1. C:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache\AppleApplicationSupport 2.0.1

2. Right click

3. Uninstall

4. C:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache\AppleApplicationSupport 1.5.2

5. Right click

6. Install

7. Restart Windows

It's all

Still not fixed this for my daughter and she is getting very frustrated that she can't access the iTunes store. Please can someone give me some suggestions. We just keep getting "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation" every time we try to uninstall anything to do with iTunes. Does anyone have a simple solution please ( other than stop using iTunes!!!!)?

Figured out my issue!

Background:

Win 7 64 bit

Itunes 10.5 public release

Iphone 4

Symptoms:

Iphone 4 backup/sync hanging

Itunes Store was blank

Fix:

Uninstalled AVG Family Safety (like net nanny, an online website monitoring app for my children)

ran command promt as administrator, typed netsh winsock reset

Rebooted

That fixed boy my backup and itunes store issue. My suggestion is if you have anything like this, Norton Online Security, Net Nanny, AVG Family Safety, Safe Eyes, Covenant Eyes, etc. you should start by uninstalling it and see if it fixes your problems. Hope this helps someone.

try this:

Start --> Programs --> Accessories (Right Click on Command Prompt) --> Run as Administrator

then type in:

netsh winsock reset

After this restart - it worked for me perfectly

got it from another thread:

Thanks to Xeta!!!

That worked for me also! Using Windows 7 64-bit with Quicktime & iTunes 10.5

Lots of THX!!!
