charging is not supported with this accessory

Why do we need to do a work around for apple their problem which they gave us !

Sorry if i stepped on any toes but im learning how to be a BAD APPLE !!!

i have found that if you take a bit of contact cleaner (i.e no flash) and clean the chargeing port after dusting it out will work

So I read thru all of this because I too am havin the same issue. I don't buy that it's the charger port as this 4s is brand spanking new.

My sentiments exactly!! When will APPLE step in and give us a solid solution?? So many people are experiencing this.

Original wall charger works fine. Computer USB works fine. Auto aftermarket charger gets error message with Telenav active or running in background.

I would think the diagnosis is obvious.

Turned out to be faulty car charger. iPhone is operating properly.

This happens to me also, but only when I use the car charger. The car charger worked fine up until recently. All my wall chargers work fine, so it's not the fact that my ports need cleaning ....

oh here some more awesome news now my iphone wont even update im sure it has something to do with this aswell so now i have a dead usless phone so thats awesome...

The IPhone 4S has this problem too. I tried to clean the connections but i am still having the same problem.

Sadly, but it does not work for my iPhone 3GS and ios 5.1.1...

Same prob, check plug-in device, wall plug might be loose or worn, try another wall outlet, good luck !
