i think its apples way of saying hey ******* come spend more money u little ****
Beginning to think you're right.
Maybe they left a word off the message? Maybe it should have read:
'Charging is not supported by this accessory ... anymore'
I solved this Apple issue instaling an App called Battery Doctor. When you turn this program on, normal charging returns. When you turn App off, charging stops and you have the error message again.
I crushed my charging cable, now I am getting that message. My cable is hanging together by a thread. I think it will go away when I get my new cable.
As a tech support person, It is best to always use Apple accessories with your iPhone. In addition, the best way to charge the phone is with an AC iphone charger.
Its the cord, I tried here in the office with another cord and worked just fine.
I just tried this and it is the one thing that totally worked for me.
This is spam. The app doesn't change the charging problem, and it attempts to access calendars for some reason.
I agree with you 100% Porius. In fact I have already stopped buying Apple products
It sounds like you got a defective phone or cable. That's what warranties are for.
warranties eventually run out dear heart......It was actually a defective port. It was a $35 fix....apple care would've cost me almost $140 for 2 yrs....
Guys i found it! You only need to let your battery to run out completely (0%), then place the plug again and there you go, your iphon will start to charge again.
I am in agreemrent this is a softwear issue. I have the origina Apple charger and this just started happening today. I did update to the ios 6.0.1 a few days ago.
I'm getting that error message when I'm not connected to anything! Any ideas please?
PS - I'm able to charge normally when I do connect...
My problem was sorted out when I plugged my iPod Touch 4th gen into a cord for the iPod nano 5th gen. It charged perfectly- the end that plugs into the iPod was a bit bigger too.
