charging is not supported with this accessory

With the hub - sure thing -> 5v and 500mA are shared between all consumers, 3 of them will have realy low amps on each and eventually fail.

The one I have has a separate power supply, but that is a good point. I'll just make sure I keep them plugged in alone to be sure, or all plugged into the PC.

It's not a software problem. It's dirt in your dock connector, or a bad cable.

Worn contacts, added another device to the hub, hub power supply failing?

This is an Apple software "fix" to make sure you only buy Apple cables and chargers or plug the iDevice directly into a Macintosh (not PC laptop in any kind of sleep mode). Not any more.

Take it and the charger to an Apple store and they will replace whatever is broken. I'm assuming you bought a new phone.

same here tried cleaning the port and turned wifi off my iphone4 has no charge now help

I had the same issue and it turned out to be a worn out cable.

I think i have an answer, when you pull out the usb cord from your phone, you put strain on the wires. Try pushing the wire and the plugging top of the cord together. Worked for me :)

That's a hardware problem with either the adapter itself or the cable. The contacts on one or both are worn, or there's a broken wire in the cable.

I know why.Take a looker close to your Iphone charging slot.If you see that it has got damaged,fix that at the Service for phone fixing

Keep in mind that the above solution circumvents the protection feature of the Apple cable. Earlier this year someone died from electrocution because they used an off-brand charger.
