Thanks for replying. The Delete option is on the right click menu yes. Do you think it could have anything related to being windows instead of mac?

But that only deletes files in the file system. It does not delete them from iTunes.

Gemini will cost you ten bucks. But in my experience it's been worth it--on both of my machines. It's fast, colorful, efficient, accurate--and it has a safety feature.

I have a problem with the deduper script, it has an error message that comes up saying "activeX component can't create object: 'iTunes.Application'

You may need to perform a repair of the iTunes installation in order to register the automation object. What version of Windows are you running?
