itunes store wont load; bar loads half way then goes blank

For some reason, I cant access the itunes store. The loading bar will only load up to half way, then the page will stay white and the bar will disappear. I used to be able to before, but all of a sudden it just doesnt. I'll post the diagnostics that itunes gave me. Any help is appreciated. thanks!

Hello Xeta, thank you......!

I am from Indonesia, it work perfectly.

Trims XETA.

Running win 7 the netsh winsock reset didn't work for me at first.

When I would restart the computer after doing it like it said PC Tools would reset the LSP on the restart.

I figured out PC Tools is the problem.

To get around it I turned off Intelliguard in PC Tools and then did the netsh winsock reset but did not restart the computer.

I opened Itunes and it worked fine, I upgraded my apps and upgraded my phone to ios 5 and everything worked fine.

After I restarted the pc the app store won't load again.

PC Tools is the problem on mine but atleast I know how to get around it now until it gets fixed.

I'm "instruction challenged". I just can't get it to work. Whn I looked at my itunes diagnostic for windows vista 32 bit, one of the things was that itunes was not enabled for the firewall. I went in and checked the itunes box under the exceptions tab and still nothing worked. I don't want to appear stupid, but I'm computer challeged and need simple directions

First things first, I've gotta chuck out the obvious stuff. Not to insult you, but just to make sure its not a super simple problem. When you check itunes in the exceptions tab, make sure you click ok and not cancel or the "close window" button.

But, if you did that, does itunes remain checked when you open up the exceptions tab again after closing it?
If so, then a program on your computer must be doing it somehow. I'm not too sure how to use McAfee, but there is probably a security tab or something that blocks certain programs from working. Maybe find that and see what there is to do from there?

If there is none, then redo the diagnostics after youve made sure that itunes is accepted by the firewall, and post it here if you wish. Or make your own post since I probably won't have much more of a clue based on what you've mentioned.

Again, not to insult you with these, but I'm just throwing out what could be easy fixes. 🙂

I haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store since I upgraded to 10.5. A list of things that I tried that didn't work were

1. "netsh winsock reset"

2. Altering LAN settings

3. Disabling iTunes Store within parental controls & enabling iTunes U

4. Uninstall/reinstall of all Apple related components

Didn't apply to me. C:\ProgramData\Apple\

What did finally work for me was uninstalling/reinstalling Spyware Doctor.

iTunes Store is back up & running.
