Magic Mouse will not track
My mouse has stopped tracking, however scrolling and the right and left buttons still function.
Has any one encountered this and how was the problem resolved?

Your mouse may have worked fine four for years ... but the post you are replying to is 5 years old !!!
Before you ditch your mouse, try it with someone else's (or another of your own) computers.
Thanks for the tip. It didnt help. Seems like the sensor/laser has passed away. Same problem with different Mac.
Then using a Q tip and some clean water, just dampen and swizzle the Q tip round on the sensor. You could dampen the Q tip with a proprietary cleaner if you have a good one. Turn off the mouse first and give it half an hour to dry,
Thanks again.
Seems that its gone. Maybe the next one will still be Magic Mouse 2.
