Same problem tonight. Customer Service with Snapfish very poor. If they are having this problem it doesn't seem like they are letting people know on their site. Especially disappointing with all the holiday deals. Shouldn't have to go through 3 steps to load pictures.

Hi and welcome to Snapfish Live Help. How may we assist you today?

You are now chatting with 'Ramaraju'

Ramaraju: Hi Tracy,

Tracy: I am having problems getting the Iphotp exporter to work. It said it installed successfully. But when I open I photo and try to upload and enter my password for snappish account it says server error try again later.

Ramaraju: I am sorry for the trouble.

Ramaraju: I am sorry, this is a known issue that our engineers are currently working to fix. We appreciate your patience while this is being resolved.

Tracy: Does this mean it may be working again tonight or is this a longer term problem?

Ramaraju: This is a ongoing issue.

Tracy: I would hope if it is an ongoing issue the company would think about writing that on the page instead of encouraging people to download the program. That is disappointing.

Ramaraju: I am really sorry for the trouble.

Tracy: How does the company suggest we easily import from I Photo then in the meantime?

Ramaraju: You have photos in your your Mac.

Tracy: yes they are all in I photo

Ramaraju: In the mean time please try our flex upload.

Tracy: what is that?

Ramaraju: I will send you a link to a page that contains that information.

Ramaraju:http://www5.snapfish.com/snapfish/flexupload

Tracy: yes that is the same page that had a link to the I Photo Uploader. I am not understanding how the best way to upload from a MAC is?

Ramaraju: I'm sorry for the trouble. On we have 2 methods to upload from Mac.

Tracy: ok how please?

Ramaraju: I will send you a link to a page that contains that information.

Ramaraju:http://support.snapfish.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/452

Tracy: It looks like from a quick google search this has been a problem with Snapfish for a long time. It would really be nice if they removed the I photo Uploader until they corrected the problem.

Ramaraju: Okay.

I've been having the same trouble. Still see no fix from Snapfish so they are losing all my business to apple and shutterfly. I guess millions of shutter happy apple device users aren't enough business for Snapfish to make fixing this a priority. I ordered a book from snapfish, loading the painful way and a book from shutterfly with their in app uploader and was happy to discover the shutterfly book came out much better. Using the same photos in both the shutterfly images look sooo much better.
