Can't see album art in Mercedes Benz Comand audio system

I have a 2011 MB with Comand audio system and Media Interface that connects and works perfectly with my iPod Classic except for one thing: album artwork. Playing some albums the cover art appears and others don't for example AAC songs bought in the iTunes Store. I have tried exporting to mp3 and Apple Lossless and embed manually the picture with no results, seems not something related with the audio type but the picture type or size, but I don't know how to check the embedded picture information of the working ones to try putting the same kind to all the rest. Any idea?

MBP 17, Mac OS X (10.6.4), G4 Cube, PBG4 12", iMac Intel

Hi, that worked for me a while back. My only remaining issue is that cover art for some albums is missing (in cover view off the hard drive) but mysteriously reappears when you play any song from the albums. So..... many albums blank, but all magically reappear when a single song is played!

I can't help you, I have a huge library in an iPod Classic and cover flow is totally useless for me, in fact alphabetical searching with Comand is also a mess in a big discotheque.

All this has been a great help to my 2013 C class. I found shape does not matter ie it doeas not have to be same height and width. Pic file size does matter, around 100k max, jpeg. PART of COMPILATION must be unchecked to upload via usb. You need only load the music files for missing artwork (I seldom sync ipod). You must have them in 'iTunes Music' folder on stick. Hope to join 100% artwork club soon. :-)
