AVCHD on mac

Hi Guys


i just bought a Sony Nex 5n.

It records in avchd 1920 x 1080 (50p, 28 M, PS)


Does anyone know how i can watch the video files on my mac (.mts) and import them to FCPX ?

I have the NEX-5ks. You can either copy the files from the SD card onto your computer and convert the MTS files to MOV using ClipWrap ($50) program, or you can use FCP X to import them. I take the SD card out of the camera and put it in my iMac SD card reader while I am in FCP X. The Import from Camera window comes up. I select the camera if not already selected (I believe it comes up as NONAME). Then select the clips and import them into an event. Now worries. Great camera ... great footage. Best wishes.
