- I assume that this has to be done from an existing Windows system.
Hey Jaymin 12,
Which version of Windows 8 are you running? 32bit or 64bit.
After installing Boot Camp and restarting it does not give you the error
"You may not have privilieges to change the startup disk. Make sure you have administrative privileges and try again."
I am runing MacBook Pro Retina Display 2.7Ghz | 16Gig | 500 SSD
Everything is working perfect, volume buttons and all that, but can't launch the Boot Camp (Apple Control) and Scrren brightness only goes to 3.
Hi revman, I am having the same problem in brightness which only goes to 3 after I convert to Windows 8. I'd like to hear if you have already sort out a solution. Thanks a lot.
Hi revman, I actually found a useful link to solve the brightness problem which goes to the self adaptive feature in Windows 8. Hope this could help. http://www.howtogeek.com/107173/disable-windows-8s-adaptive-brightness-to-fix-da rk-screen-problems/
Hey Bai Liang,
Thanks for the link. I actaully removed the Bootcamp Controls so my brightness came back to normal. Win 8 will be realeased in 2 weeks, so I don't have much long to wait until Apple release a driver that will work corectly.
