Ok, I'm having problems with MacBook Pro overheating when I'm playing a game and the FPS drops very low, so does anybody know the best solution for this situation?

I got everything on high, but the shaders the lighting and the post-procesing wich are on medium(shaders), low(lighting) and medium(post-procesing), also the reflections are off, it was working perfectly 1 month ago then I got this problem, my other post explains what I did actually here:https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3304894
Also about my MBP specs, 2.66 ghz intel core i7, 4gb ram, nvidia gt 330m, mid 2010 MBP, OSX 10.7.1 Lion, StarCraft 2 version: 1.4.0
i have the 2011 15" and i play sc2 as well... i have all my settings on medium so I don't worry about droping frame rate, on mutli it goes to about the lowest 50fps. Highest is 62fps. Also I've downloaded "Fan Control" for the macbook pro.
I'm attaching a screenshot of the temperature/fan settings. This is a good app to test to see if your fan is still functioning correctly during game play:
(this program is free)
Also, if you can download iStat Menu's, it can give you a better break down of your performance and usage.
here's the website: http://www.bjango.com/
Thanks, with my settings I can run at over 50 fps for like 3 minutes, so I decided to cap my framerate at 30, combined with the smcfancontrol wich forces my fan to run at maximum I can make it, also thank you for iStat app
I use a Foldable Stand with mine so air can circulate better. It can't hurt and it makes it easier to type too!
