Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I was burnt by the ios update on my iphone 3G a year ago, it made it slow and unusable for a very long time, eventualy I gave up on it. Is this going to happen to Ipad1 when we install IOS5? Will Apple make Ipad 1 redundant on purpose and push us all into buying Ipad2 or Ipad3?
I have a bad feeling about this and its not as if we have much choice.
Help! I followed the instructions, backed up into iTunes on my pc, downloaded iOS5 (it took more than 35 minutes), then went into my apps on my iPad1 and found I've lost all my files ... all of them ... in every app! It apears that the only things that backed up into my iTunes were the apps, not their contents (files). Anyone else have this happen? Is there a solution that will salvage my apps???
