Iphone 4s pre-order

I got the reservation, and email, after trying and waiting since 11:30 PST. (Waiting first of cource) but then the server bog down, kept me from getting in to place my order. You could actually see it happen befor the "doors" opened. The site down page, was taking longer and longer to refresh. Then bam it's up, and then I couldn't get through the AT&T elegibility mire.

Lastly, I tried through the iPhone Apple Store App, and it said I have to cancel my prior order before continuing. WT???

I don't see any option to cancel the reservation. In the mean time others are jumping in line before me getting their orders in and I only have a reservation.

For anyone asking, this happened last year too. The specifics are a little different but the frustration is the same. This is why we do it, and it's our payment for being first or 1,000,000th in line.

Laster I did this through AT&T's web site. There was a lot of speculation for the whole week/2 weeks, but ultimately my phone came the day prior to retail opening day.

It's really fun. But ohh so frustrationg. Be glad you are alive and feel the pain.

My buddy received the second email, and it gave him the option of how he would like to get the phone.

So I get this on my iPhone Apple Store App "Please cancel the other order before proceeding further" What is this? I logged on to a different iTunes account and got the same message. I only have one phone number to pre-order with.

Does Apple have my phone details on record and is stopping me due to the reservation or have I been black listed as buying the phone already? I have not paid for anything at all.

I got the reservation confirmation from apple... but i couldn't wait any longer... they haven't sended me the email yet.. so i went back onto AT&T and i got through!! Don't give up!! Server are now running!!

Is anyone else having issues adding the Apple Care Protection plan specific to the 4S to their cart?

I just pre-ordered on Apple Site, but couldn't add the protection plan for the 4S. 😠

I try a differnt phone nunber in our family plan and it works! However I have an Apple (not iTunes) gift card and there is no option to use on the iPhone Apple Store App.

I see the same message. And when i log into my account i don't see the order i placed...guess they haven't updated the system yet to show the most recent orders... Therefore i can't cancel mine and place a new one... 😟

Does that at least mean based on the reservation number they are going to ship it by order?? I really hope so!!!!
