iPhone 4S Ship Date???

Try the UPS site. I first tried the FedEx and nothing came up, but my tracking is now available, too on UPS. Go Brown!!! 🙂

Are you using your phone number in the shipment reference section?

When I phoned up to order mine (network providor) the sales desk gave me a delivery dat of 11th Oct. It took a few seconds for him to comment that he thought the 14th Oct was the earliest possible date. But his system was telling him otherwise.

Haven't recieved a delivery confirmation email yet, so I don't think it will be tomorrow. I'm guessing so many 4S's are in the delivery system already waiting for a despatch address.

Yeah, use your phone # for the reference field.

I had two on order - 1 has shown and one has not - I put my phone # in the reference field.

I'm not finding my shipping info on UPS or FedEx and my order status says "Preparing for Shipment"

Are you putting a hyphens in your phone number? (123-456-7890)?? or Just the number with no spaces/hyphens? (1234567890)

What about shipment date range - are you leaving this to the default value or changing it to something more precise? (When the page loads on UPS it is 9/12/11-10/10/11)

And finally, Destination ZIP/Postal Code - Did you have to enter the additional 4-digit extension? Or did you just use the 5 digit ZIP code?

PS do you think the color of the phone or GB makes a difference on which ones get shipped out first? I ordered the 64gb White phone, maybe those are taking longer to get shipped?

I was able to get mine by just typing the phone number with nothing else. 1234567890

As for the zip, I just put the standard 5 digit one.

My order is still "processing" and ordered it on the canadian apple store on 3h36 am october 7th

Just enter your phone number without hyphens in the Shipment Reference field. Then, leave the shipment date range as is. I just used my 5 digit zip code (no extension). That's it...you should be good to go.

P.S. It won't list your name or address for the shipping information, just has the basic info of where your package is and when it should be delivered.

ive done that but still i cant see my shipment, My order is in Processing for Shipment

Yup. That's exactly what I've tried and all I'm getting is ">>>UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Verify your information and try again."

I guess I'm just one of the unlucky people here who ordered early Friday morning and hasn't had it ship yet. Oh well, as long as it gets here by the promised date of Friday the 14th I'll be happy.

No worries, maybe it's shipping FedEx. I'm sure you'll still get it delivered on time!

Also, my Apple order still says "Preparing to Ship"...so maybe Apple is behind on updates.

I ordered my iphone 4s at 4am on 10/7 from apple for an AT&T carrier. I got word that it has been sent from China today with a scheduled delivery date of 10/14. I think it will get here before then.

Ok, so I ordered one of the iPhones (16GB Black 4S) as soon as Apple.com was open at around 12:45am on Friday. That one changed to "Preparing for Shipment" on Saturday and still remains at that point. The other 4s (White 16GB) changed to "Preparing for Shipment" late on Saturday, but that one was pre-order at around 4pm on Friday. The last one, which is an iPhone 4 8GB White was pre-ordered at the same time as the White 16GB 4s but that one is still processing. I tried the shipping trick as shown in the previous posts with both Fedex and UPS, but it's not showing up for any of the numbers. My order itinerary with Apple still says that all three are scheduled to arrive on the 14th. Am I missing something here?
