iPhone 4S Ship Date???

I ordered 2 phones from Apple the first -a white 16 ATT - I was able to track early it has left China, and from what I can tell arrived in anchorage on UPS flight 69 in anchorage about a half hour ago. The 2nd - a black 32 ATT- is still in "prepared for shipment" Because my primary phone number is the one on record for both orders - and the one that shipped is for my wifes phone # - i dont think the early trick is working - it just takes me to the phone that is shipped - not the phone that has my number.

It may be that the blacks ship from a different point - I have seen where nothing happens and then suddenly the whole 3 day trip shows up from one hour to the next.

Unfortunately some information is just enough to drive me crazy constantly checking.....

and because I just did - it shows arrival in Anchorage at 2:41 Alaska time.....😀

I really want SOMETHING to let me know that it's been shipped. I ordered it with my mother's iTunes account and so it sends any shipping information to her email address, so I have no idea.

I ordered my black 16 gig along with Applecare plus around 8pm Friday night. I tried to order from Apple at 3am but their website was down so I ordered from Verizon. But when Verizon changed my ship dste to 10/21 I cancelled with them and ordered through Apple along with Applecare plus.

They gave me a 10/14 delivery date and it still shows deliver on 10/14, however the status still shows processing.

I keep checking hoping that it changes.

The waiting is the hardest part. :-)

Use all but the last 2 digits of your apple order number (8 digits) - it is listed as one of the reference numbers for UPS - that may work.

Now it's due to arrive in Louisville by 8:30. My other phone just left Shenzien going to Hong Kong international airport!

This is what I used and was the only way I got my update. Ready to be picked up by UPS in China. Woot!!!

Well, as of this am my order shows complete for the Applecare+, meaning they have billed me for it. However my phone still shows processing. I cant believe they would bill me for the Applecarecand not ship my phone same time.

I'll keep checking. Hopefully tracking number soon.

I'm from Toronto, and my order is now in Florissant, MO, US. It left Anchorage last night! I'm so exited :-) thank you MikePredfan for the tracking trick! It's supposed to be delivered by this Friday !!

I used my phone number w/o hyphens, UPS reference tracking because mine still says preparing for shipment, found out mine just shipped from china today!!!

This is driving me crazy. I received my order acknowledgement 5:48(ET) on Oct 7 and it is still listed as preparing for shipment. I have tried both UPS and fedex. order number without last 2 digits, shipping and billing phone numbers, with no spaces, with spaces, with hypens. Just no luck. Order says delivery on Oct 14.

I ordered the white 32gb model, maybe thats in short supply???

Yes, I did. My first iphone, so i'm excited as you can imagine.

If you have been told delivery is on the 14th, it will be on the 14th. There's no point at all in spending the next three days trying to second-guess the logistics involved.

Your right, but i really have beening waiting 4 years to buy an iphone. 🙂 My company gives me a cheap flip phone and I finally decided thats it. I'm taking control of the issue. There are so many features i want to use.

When the Apple TV is upgraded to the A5 processor I will upgrade my original Apple TV and use Airplay. There is so much video content that can be displayed on the TV with this option.
