my iphone is frozen

I was updating some apps, specifically the lastest facebook update, it was taking forever to load...then when it finally did load, it didn't work, so I decided to delete the app & just redownload it. Ok fine...its redownloading. I left, came back to check it, and it was still installing, so I decided to shut off my phone and restart it, here comes the problem,.ever since then, my phone won't turn back on. It is frozen with the apple logo on it. I have tried to hold the sleep & wake button, plug it in to itunes, everything & still nada.

WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!

iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.2

i would recommend uninstalling FB for a day until they fix the issue because it can cause other problems with the phone. As for un-freezing your phone do a hard reset by holdin the sleep/wake button and the home button for 10 sec

i had the exact same problem, so i did a restore from 2 days ago only to find that the restore is looking for a mythical password which i dont know what it is, so i cant seem to restore it unless i can find a way of cracking my password!!! Extremely annoyed!!!!!!!!

Same problem. Updated today with new FB app and when I tried it on iPhone, wouldn't open. iPhone 4 slow all evening. Tried deleting FB app and restarting phone, but hung up on Apple logo screen on restart. I have tried hard reset by holding sleep/wake button and home buttons, but on restart it keeps hanging on Apple logo. It has been that way for 30 min or more. BSNOW did yours come back?

I had to finally give in and reset/restore my phone from backup. iOS5 comes out tomorrow, should resolve the Facebook issue, though an update was released later today.. Good luck!

Hi, I tried doing this as well as following youtube videos, but it just won't turn off and I don't know what to do as it means i can't follow other steps successfully
