Hello when I connect my iPhone 4 to the iTunes and I trying to update my version to iOS 5 and it tells me that my version is up to date and tells me to check on 10/19
The iOS 5 release has not taken place yet...the Apple site still says Coming Soon...theories alreeady stated on these discussions that the 10/12 release date will likely be around 10:00 am Pacific time today...just keep looking 🙂
Apple is usually known to release updates before promised date. It's almost end of the day in the eastern parts of the world (Australia, and lot of places in APAC). Bored of clicking "Check of Updates" 🙂
The update will be available when Apple a West Coast US company (HINT ) switch on their update servers
or search this forum for an educated guess
So when I can update to iOS 5 in my iPhone 4 if I am in Israel?
When it is 10.00am in West coast USA work out what time it is in Israel 😉

Funnily enough it has in Australia because of the time zones😁
it is up to date until apple releases ios 5. this are the complete time.(rome is resalted becouse it is an italian blog but just search for the capital of your country/state or whatever.

I reckon they are just sat in the office, watching how many update requests from people clicking on check for update on iTunes. The Apple employees in charge of the updates are probably taking bets on how many update requests per hour they will have.
On a more serious note though, i've had ios5 for months it really isnt worth waiting in all day for.
