iOS 5 set up. Stuck on "Find my iPhone"

Hi everyone,

just installed the iOS5 on to my iPhone 4. I am going through the set up process on my phone where it is asking you for apple id, if you want to use iCloud, etc. When I get to the screen asking me if I want to use "Find my iPhone", no matter if I say yes, or no, it will not let me advance when I touch 'next'.

At this point I can't even use my phone at all as it is stuck on this set up. When i click the home button all it does is go to a few options such as "emergency call" "start over aka erase your iPhone" and "wifi settings"

Please help!!

I had this same problem where I was stuck on the 'Find My iPhone' screen. I rebooted and I didn't have go through the entire process again but it took me to my home screen and said basically 'don't disconnect your phone until it is synced', I clicked OK and at this time I could see my home screen and play around (not the normal 'Sync is in Progress' screen). Then my phone got stuck on Step 2 of the sync'ing process...

I checked iPhone on iTunes at the same time, on the Summary tab, where it says Backup, I had 'Backup to this computer' selected, while in the setup process I had selected 'Backup to the Cloud'. I changed that to match my phone settings, clicked 'Apply Changes' on the right hand side and it worked! Straight through Step 3 to 6 in just a few minutes and I was good to go. I also went into my email and confirmed my Apple ID that I had set up during the process, that may have helped things along as well.

Hope that helps!
