iOS 5 Wireless iTunes sync..Not really wireless or what?

So.. I got to my iPhone.. Settings > General > click on "iTunes Wi-Fi Sync" .. and the button "Sync Now" is greyed-out... Something like this:

Automatically sync with iTunes on your computer when your iPhone is plugged in to power and connected to Wi-Fi.

Sync Now

Sync will resume when "USER-PC" is available.

Help me please? My intention was to finish syncing (especially my songs) back on my iPhone WITHOUT connecting it either to a computer or a charger!

Hey Everyone. I know this post is from a while back, but here's something that worked for me. I spent hours trying to figure out this problem, at least a good 24....I tried everything from disconnecting my ipod touch, to reinstalling itunes, to restarting my router and checking my firewall settings, all to no avail. Even if it did work it was only temporary.... but now I got it sorted. Usually it's a problem with Itunes..Luckily I came across this link, and I want to share it with you. Hopefully you will find it helpful.

Follow the link below and follow the steps. It seems like a permanent fix. Good luck!

Mine is Windows 8.1 so some areas might be different from your directive.

Control Panel>Windows Firewall &with Advanced Security>Inbound Rules.

From the Inbound Rules I can only see 4X Bonjour Services but not SyncServers.

When I double click on Bonjour Services>Bonjour Services Properties>Advanced I notice only Private was ticked under the Profile in all 4 Bonjour Services. So what should be done next, must I tick the Domain check box as well for all 4???
