iOS5 update causes over capacity problem?

I've just applied iOS5 to my iPhone 4 and after applying the update and trying to do a sync, iTunes fails because it says the iPhone is now 14gb over capacity.

My iPhone had 4gb free prior to the update.

The category it lists as over capacity is "Other", but I have no idea what it that "Other" stuff is.

Any advice?
