No iCloud on Snow Leopard? THIS IS A JOKE, APPLE!

Right now I'm thinking about leaving Apple products behind for good. So I can't use iCloud on Snow Leopard (which is not that old)? Meaning my syncing (contacts, bookmarks, calendars etc.) will just stop when they shut down MobileMe in 2012?

GREAT WAY TO DEAL WITH YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS, APPLE!

I can't update to Lion (various reasons). So now what? Dump the crap Macbook+iMac+iPhone in the toilet? Should be a great idea!

VERY PROFESSIONAL, CONGRATULATIONS!

So much time that he can afford to threadjack.

Maybe he was referring to himself? Either that or he should explain what gave him the impression that I am dyslexic and you were bashing me.

I'll take that as a "YES" - I am somewhat surprised as you seemed to be a down to earth no nonesense computer advice kind of guy...

You're the last person that should be criticizing other people's posts...

Let's get back on the subject!

I came here for some serious thoughts and options. Now the recent posts are all sorts of personal nonsense.

I select to have responses my email, and this fuels my inbox. My 5 y/o old computer has difficult times.

PLEASE! My conclusion is that Apple people do not read these, because their Apple Care on phone told me. I'm not going to listen to these last posts. Snow Leopard just is not for iCloud, and Apple has rendered this MBP w SL, a step back. I refuse to spend more for hardware at this point.

It took you until page 77 to come to this conclusion??!!?? It has been repeated TIME and TIME AGAIN that Apple does NOT read these threads (other than moderation) and helpful readers have posted the link many times where you can get your opinions read by Apple.

This thread IS A JOKE, and it has been for a long time: it is a rant thread, pure and simple. If you did not understand that before, welcome to our nighmare!

The Apple world is quickly becoming Mountain Lion; Lion will fade into history (except for those with hardware that can only run Lion and not Mountain Lion).

MobileMe was shut down over a month ago!

If you need iCloud and Snow Leopard, you should have figured it out already: IF NOT - there are multiple threads on this forum that do not take this issue as a joke and offer all sorts of solutions and workarounds.

I offered my Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) installed into Parallels 7 in Lion solution almost one year ago, and although it is addressed to the small minornity that need it, it has been abused and harassed by a different small minority that have nothing better to do with their time (false accusations that it violates the Snow Leopard EULA, it is a hack, it is unsupported, it gives users of outdated software false hopes, upgrade your software [even if you cannot], etc etc etc!).

That did not keep me from updating the solution and working with those who continue to need it and use it...

NO WAY, it did not take me 77 pages. I knew what I wrote long ago. You will see I posted way back.

This time I was trying to say something to get the bickering over with. I will now opt out of getting emails, just as Andy wrote. This is rediculous. Very unproductive.

FYI: my opinion is I will not follow some suggestions for 3rd party work-arounds. I'm done. No more of me here.

There is a very knowledgible staff at an authorized seller with a retail location nearer to me than an AppleStore.
