No iCloud on Snow Leopard? THIS IS A JOKE, APPLE!

Right now I'm thinking about leaving Apple products behind for good. So I can't use iCloud on Snow Leopard (which is not that old)? Meaning my syncing (contacts, bookmarks, calendars etc.) will just stop when they shut down MobileMe in 2012?

GREAT WAY TO DEAL WITH YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS, APPLE!

I can't update to Lion (various reasons). So now what? Dump the crap Macbook+iMac+iPhone in the toilet? Should be a great idea!

VERY PROFESSIONAL, CONGRATULATIONS!

Living on borrowed time - my Macbook Intel Core 2 Duo running SL 10.6.8 and an iPhone that enabled me to set up iCloud. 1 email account there and Find My Phone. That is all my Mac can access.

I use the USB cord to sync my phone (calendar, NOT contacts, tunes, some photos and videos). My calender is synched through Google - works ok (phone setup through Exchange).

I use Google Docs, DropBox, SkyDrive. All at limited, free levels. Dropbox is ok for photo transfers and is capable of synching them.

Still, after this debacle, my next laptop will very likely be a windows machine or even unix/linux after total Apple/Mac hardware since an Apple IIe.

I have submitted comments to the form at http://www.apple.com/feedback/icloud.html several times. Hope they have a change of mind there in Cupertino, my old stomping grounds.

VERY same here. Apple after money and not user satisfaction.

I have had thoughts of refurb newer MBP (not newest), at Small Dog Electronics, either their website or store which is closer than an Apple Store. They are great people. Always had great advice.

Following from an Apple Care person, I sync my calenders and contacts via iTunes and USB, having turned off in iPhone settings the iCloud contacts & calendars. A far cry from wireless with MobileMe account! Also tunes and photos. I have "mail" account and gMail, both working fine.

I'm oughta here, till I see a great email.........

Safari 6.0 requires either a Mac running Mac OS X v10.7.4 or 10.8.

Perhaps Mr. Gomez has a source for his statement.

This citation is not such a source... This statement only tells the reader that if he wants to run Safari 6, he must do so either in the currently available OS X, which is Mountain Lion, or that he can run it on a computer running Lion.

It makes no claim about the next generation of OS X and Safari 6, nor could it!
