Notification Center not working on iOS5

same problem!!!! nothing appars o lock screen!!!!

I think you have to go into the app for the first time and it will be ok after that. I had no mail until I went into my mail app for the first time. Now it's ok.

I am have two issue with Notifications. One, non apple apps (twitter, Facebook) are not reporting notifactions to the drop down. Two, when I manually set the order of the apps to appear in notification center my changes do not save. I can not get my Weather Widget back to the top the of notifications drop down.

I was able to get non Apple apps to show notifications by turning them off then back on, and I after a reboot the order of the apps saved.

The same problem with me for my itouch 3g. I don't know what to do!

I think you right after rebooting my phone the order of apps seems to save now. But my noticications are still hit and miss. I seem to be get some of my facebook noticications but nothing for twitter.

That actually worked. I guess it works for only apple made apps.

same problem for me too. i haven't been able to get calendar's to show in notifications. 😠

Try doing a hard reset. This fixed the issue for me on each of the beta versions I ran going back to beta 4 and up to the full release version.

I restored my iPhone 4 for the 3rd time yesterday (was on the phone to Apple Support while doing so) and just as they got the head supervisor the restore finished and everything started to work completely fine!

For those of you having any issues at all, plug your phone into iTunes and click restore then when it comes to setting it up DO NOT SET UP FROM LAST BACK UP! set it up as a new iPhone and you're good to go!

Have you allowed notifications for each app? I was wondering why my email wasn't coming up in notifications and it was because it wasn't activated to. Go into settings, notifications and allow whatever it is you want notifying about. If thats not the issue then call Apple ;-)

For me that wasn't the issue. Every app was turned on in settings.app and so were the settings within the app. As said above, I did full restore and fixed it all.

i have the same problem but by time notification starts working and then it stops and like tht !!! dont the reason yet !! maybe its cuz of the iphone it self , cuz i tried restoring and updating to ios 5 !! and still the problem isnt solved !

The best way for Apple to see these bugs is to take your device to the genius bar and have the genius document them.

If I restore to a new iphone...will I not lose all my app, photos, music etc.?
