Mine too. it took forever to backup and update my ipod touch 4g to the new ios 5. But everything seems sluggish after that. The touch screen experience seems to be a bit jittery and there are noticeable pauses when loading apps. Is this just my ipod or is ios5 just not up to the mark?

APPLE:

I don't think it's going to happen... every single action latelly looks agains us and the apple 4g... you know what I was thinking... I might be more than wrong here... but looks that apple want us to replace the ipod touch for iphones... the ipod 5gen didn't appear... was a 4g white, right? now they develop an app (iphoto) that works on iphone 4, ipad 2 but DO NOT WORK on iPod Touch 4G...

Maybe be is just me... but I don't think we are going to hear from them unless we do something about it.

I know exactly what you mean, if you want to downgrade your ios, hold shift and while your holding it press restore, you will need to download the ipsw you want thats compatible with your device E.G: you cant run 4s on ipod 4g trust me ive tried but then you find the ipsw and then click on it and it will downgrade! hope this helped!

Apple should realize that all the moolah they are cashing on right now on Apple products started all with the " IPOD "... yes.

Now that they have got iphone and ipad to fill their catalogues, they have probably forgotten the very inception of their Success... The iPod ... hence for the sake of some respect to this device someone at Apple should fix this ongoing thing..... and yes.. if they can't fix it.. atleast give an option in iTunes to formally revert it back to iOS 4.3 or whatever...! 😠

This is truely getting hopeless for me now...! 😟
