Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account

I've successfully upgraded three Macs and my iPhone to 10.7.2/Build 11C74 today, moved my MobileMe account to iCloud, and moved two of the Macs and the iPhone to iCloud. However, my MacBook Air keeps giving me the error "Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account" when I attempt to move it to iCloud. I've tried a test account on this Mac with the same results.

The Apple servers are confirming my Apple ID credentials, but won't allow me to set up iCloud on this MacBook Air. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I'm hoping it's just a server validation issue this evening that will be resolved in the morning, but for now I'm stumped.

have the same problem treid the terminal thing several time n entered my password but wont work for me ..what do u mean by the key-string pls

I've found in my /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist (You can edit it only from root user/sudo command)

Some record like

<string>.....some hexademical value....</string>

I've remove that rectord (both key and string tags with values), save the file and then reboot my mac.
