Airport Port Back to My Mac After iCloud

Before iCloud, I can see my Home Time Capsule from my office via Back to my Mac (Network).

Now I can't, but I can see the other Mac computer at my Home.

Do I need to do any setting with my Airport Utility for the Port Mapping ?

the solution above is indeed a work around and I have a dynamic IP address. So this solution is useless to me. Can't understand why Apple can't just solve this. They had this running and it is no problem at all to implement this in iCloud. The reason I think they are not doing it (and thereby letting down their paying cutomers) is because they want to force you to use iCloud. This is really silly to be honest. I paid for my Airport Extreme and it's functions are being minimized because Apple wants to force it's free service onto everyone.

I am trying to set up a DynDNS like feature(could use No-IP or other equivalent services) so I can access the router remotely(I have some environmental monitoring at the remote site that I want to be able to access) I don't want to leave a computer at the remote site. Does the Airport Extreme support such a feature? Has anyone been successful at setting this up? Or does anyone have experience with non-Mac routers in being able to use a router based DynDNS? What service(eg No-IP or DynDNS) did you use? THanks MR

Hi there,

Having the same problem as you with the time capsule (4th Gen) and BTMM. Its now May 2012 though and I have all the lastest firmware and airport updates. I have enabled bonjour internet etc etc and can FIND the time capsule when connected to another LAN. However, on trying to connect I get the same result as in the image you posted.

Just wondered if you have discovered anyh solution to this?

TIA

I think its your firewall, everything is working over here. I did had the same problem when i used a draytek router that was installed as the internet router and after that was the BTMM. (in the Netherlands we are not able to connect the internet cable directly into the BTMM). When i changed the draytek to a 'dumb' and cheap router from Netgear everything started to work.

Butttt i opend up port: 3283 and 5900.

Regards.
