iCloud control panel server error
I can't sign into the iCloud control panel on Windows 7. It keeps saying " can't sign in because of server error". How can this be fixed?

Thanks, your hint did the trick immediately!
I had no proxy settings, no automatic proxy settings search, and for testing I had disabled the Windows firewall, but nothing worked. Also, deleting the IE logs/cookies and stuff didn't help. But resetting the winsock did it!
Thanks a lot! 😎
I am running WIn 7 32bit in a corp enevironment behind a proxy. When I installed iCloud Control Pannel, it first asked me for my Apple ID, then for my proxy credentials. I believe I eneterd incorrect proxy credentials. Now every time I try to sign in to iCloud Control Pannel, it says" You can't sign in because of a server error".
I can't find where I can adjust the proxy credentials I provided. Any idea?
P.S. I added the Apple-identified EXEs to the exceptions list, as recommended in the linked article.
I cannor reset winsock because I am not a local admin.
Some problem like that, but I use windows 8.
I too am in a corporate environment and killing the firewall and anti-virus is not an option. Am I out of luck? Nothing else has worked.
Nope does not work...
it hangs and then later throws the same error message...
Its working now after an update of the client
Wow! Thanks so much!
Your answer is very helpful. It solved my problem + dgbielsa solution.
