Birthdays do not show up on iCloud.com/calendar. Anyone else?

Birthdays Calendar is turned ON in iCloud.com. Birthdays (from the birthday field in Contacts) show up on my iPhone/iPad, but all birthdays have disappeared from the calendar view on iCloud.com.

Anyone else with this problem? Apple support has been looking into it for me for 2 days without any result yet.

Yeah, those are exactly the problems I'm having. Although, even when I modify the birthday in the iCloud or iPhone address book, iCloud still does not change -- even after hours of waiting.

Also, if I delete a contact and the their birthday completely, it still remains on the iCloud calendar. BUT, when I add that contact and birthday back into my address book, their birthday doesn't show up in the iCloud birthday calendar, even though you would think it would appear as a duplicate.

I'm having all kinds of issues with the birthday calendar. My iPhone contacts uploaded to iCloud and synced to my iPad2. However, only some (not all) of the birthdays from my iPhone synced to iCloud and the iPad. They do not show up in the contacts or the calendar.

I was working with an Apple Care person on Monday, but he hasn't called me back. Ugh, this is frustrating.

I've tried that. Both on my own and with Apple support. I did it again now just to make sure. The birthdays remain on my iPhone and don't go to iCloud or the iPad. If I add an event to my calendar from any source (including using Siri), all are updated. I've even deleted the calandar, and still not all the birthday's transfer when I sync. I even tried to add a birthday to a contact who didn't previously have one using the iPad and it doesn't make it to iCloud or the iPhone. Something is very wrong with how iCloud is syncing birthdays. The fact the Apple support person I was working with on Monday (for 2 hours!) hasn't called me back or responded to my emails indicates they have no idea how to resolve this issue.

I am continuing to work with Apple Tech Support. In the last 8 days I've had 1 telephone conversation and over 20 emails back and forth with the same person who is overseeing this reported problem for me. Last thing we did was two days ago, upload my entire address book to a new "test" iCloud account. Those birthdays have still not appeared. What also interesting is that a couple of the birthdays that I did get up into the iCloud's Birthday Calendar, have still not disappeared from the calendar. Basically, in my opinion, the calendar has not refershed in over 50 hours.

peterfromlaguna niguel: your tests regarding modifying birthdays is interesting. I've previously directed my Apple Tech Support contact to this forum, and I will do so again, pointing out your test conclusions.

The last email from Apple Tech Support person in part read as follows:

"I'm going to work with my engineers on this a little more and see what else we can come up with. ... I'll will be in contact as soon as I receive any updated information from my engineers."

Clearly, iCloud Birthday Calendar is not working right, at least for some. I'm glad that Apple is looking into this for me/us. As I've mentioned, please continue to report these problems to Apple. I believe if they get enough people reporting the problem, this will get figured out and fixed.

I have the the same problem.
I am set up on iPhone4 (ios5), iCal (5.0.1) on Lion (10.7.2) and iCloud and all seem to sync perfectly except for the iCloud Birthdays. On the iPhone4 and iCal they sync but not in iCloud.

Not sure if this helps but I have set up my wife's iPhone4 and iCloud Calendar and she has Birthdays showing.

The only differences I can see is she is not set up on a mac with iCal. just thought the brainiacs may be able to deduce something from that.

That absolutely solved the problem for me!! Took my dumb a## a minute to figure out that you meant the preferences WITHIN iCLOUD CALENDAR and not 'System Preferences' iCloud options (the "little gear" in the upper right hand corner, folks).

Once I got in the right place, simply checked that box, confirmed those other preferences while I was in there, then clicked "done".

A system message popped up, telling me that the calendar was gathering birthday information and updating.

Within less than a minute? SHAZAM!! I think the technical term is "FM" 🙂

Thanks vdr74 -- problem solved!!

Issue still occurs to me.

Tried all suggestions posted so far, such as checking/unchecking the iCloud "Show Birthdays calendar" option, refreshing the calendar, unloading/loading the contacts from iCloud, unchecking/checking the box next to the Birthdays calendar to make it invisible/visible. They just don't show up.

Apple, please look at it!

Birthdays do not show up on iCloud.com/calendar. Anyone else?
