    So , after so much discussion , i don't think there is any oftficial comment or press release for this issue from Apple. This can't be a luck as we all are paying a good amount and it has to be good in all aspects!!!!

    To follow-up, I took the Black 32GB iPhone 4s back to the Apple Store and showed them the yellow tinted screen. They agreed it wasn't right, and exchanged it for another one and had me confirm that the new iPhone 4s had an acceptable screen. They also marked the one I had as DOA, and advised that it would be sent back to the factory.

     

    I am VERY happy now, but not certain if this would have gone so well if I hadn't also had the AppleCare Plus plan with my original purchase.

     

    So my advice is "take it back to the store and have it replaced" if you get an Apple device with this "yellow tint". You will be happier if you do!

    You very lucky.  You got the pick of the litter. Mine is not bad bad but it is bad. The whites are not bright and I hate it I'm going to the apple store this weekend to get a good one. Hopefully!

    Count me in. Looking at the new 4S here in comparison to an older iPhone 4 and an iPad 3 (which are ok together displaywise) gives your eyes a greenish yellowish colorshock. I cannot use the new 4S in connection with my other devices at all. Colors look washed out and dead and the contrast and brightness seems lower. It's already the 2nd 4S Apple sent me. The first was very bad greenish yellowish, this one is just bad, but still inacceptable. Will let them swap the 4S again and again and again and again if necessary. This inconsistency in screentints and having NO colormanagement options at all makes it impossible to work with those units in aprofessional prosumer photography or cinematography environment.

    I am getting quiet angry with this corporation... Apple gives me a third RMA for my 4S and I will get my money back. I would like to work with my new iPad 3 side by side with a new iPhone 4S without my customers and friends asking me if my phone display was broken. What is going on with Apple? Are they using cheaper displays in the 2nd half of the 4S productioncycle?

    I got a black iPhone 4S 32GB when they first came out in the UK on a contract with Three. Have had no problems with the screen at all, however I've fallen out with Three as they have been providing me with terrible service and it's got to the point where I've now taken out another contract with Orange and am in the process of paying Three off. I've received my new white iPhone 4S on Orange, this time the 16GB model as it was free of charge and the screen quality is shocking compared to the original iPhone 4S that I received from Three. It's also got small black marks around the edges of the phone making it look scruffy, they will not rub off. Quite shocked at the poor quality of this product and I am thinking about paying Three to unlock my black one and using that instead and putting this new one on eBay! I really wanted the white model too and had regretted not getting it from the beginning! I'm just pleased I didn't actually fork out any money for it as I'd have been livid!

    We need to keep this going! My brother just got a 4s yesterday and he has the exact same POS screen as me. If the five has this screen problem too then I will never buy from apple again!

    I  use the colour profiles . And this is my tweak ,

    Profile: Blue

    Colour Temp: Center point at "A" from the word (available)

    Profile level: Center point between the word "o,r" from the word (more)
