iTunes to iPhone "Unknown error 0xE800007F"

Im running all Apple network gear too, I doubt its anything to do with it.

Funnily enough, without doing anything the problem hasnt occured for a few days. Ive also not bought anything for a few days, so maybeits tied to the content transfer part of the process.

Same here, Windows 7 64 Bit PC, 64 Bit iTunes and an iPhone 4S 32GB Black. Everything updated to the newest versions. iPhone is in my WiFi, the PC is connected with cabel. Error pops up every 1-5 Minutes. Pretty annoying.

Why are you posting in the mac forum? Also, why would it make a difference what color your iPhone is?

Wouldn't it be a better course of action to find out if there's anyone who uses WiFi Sync and actually hasn't experienced this error? And then maybe work out a solutoin from there? Until Apple does, of course? 😝

iTunes 10.5.2, I receive the same error. Was secretly hoping Apple would fix this at least silently but they didn't. Oh well.

Still I need to ask- is there anyone who's using WiFi sync and NOT getting this error?

Same problem here, but it seems, it only affects my iPhone 4. neither my iPad (1st gen, wifi+3g) nor my iPod touch (4g) have this problem.

my equipment:

PC: Lenovo B570 Notebook

WiFi Card: Broadcom 802.11n

Wifi Router: Deutsche Telekom Speedport W723 V Type B (manufactured by arcadyan)

Wifi operating at 2.4 GHz, 802.11g, Channel 6

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 Bit, all updates installed

iTunes 10.5.2

iOS 5.0.1

local backups on iPhone und iPad, iCloud backups on iPod touch

steps taken:

complete clean new install of win 7 on another Pc with all updates and SP1, complete clean rstore of iPod to iOS 5.0.1 on that PC, connection PC-Router with Cat6 wired Ethernet: error persists

Please do not mention you're on Windows or somebody in this thread is going to get their panties in a bunch yet again. 😝

should i mention, this also happens on my 10.6.8 Hackintosh?

Really annoying. ipad + iphone + wifi sync

Same issue here, all software updated IOS5 on iPhone 4 and iTunes 10.5.2.11 on a WiFi network.

The weird part is it still syncs. Everything seems to be OK until I plug into my PC to charge my phone. Then I get the errors, but iTunes still sees my phone and still syncs.

Same here... everything is up to date. Have to plug in iPhone 4 via USB to update / backup.

wi-fi sync works if i click Sync in iTunes buts usually fails if i click Sync Now from iphone 4.

0xE800007F message still pops up every once in a while when connected via wi-fi, very annoying

I have the same thing with iPhone4 but not with the iPad1. No auto synching though both are on the network. When I go to iTunes and synch, sometimes it does. Closing and opening iTunes sometimes helps. While I was told by an Apple support person iTunes doesn't have to be open to synch, I've never had a synch w/o iTunes being open.

So iTunes doesn't have to be open to sync. Now that's genius! This apple employee has just singlehandedly resolved this this 12-pages long issue!! :P
