iTunes to iPhone "Unknown error 0xE800007F"

I have Wi-Fi Sync active and it works great unplugged from power -- but when I plug my phone into power and it starts syncing, iTunes says the following:

"iTunes could not connect to this iPhone because an unknown error occurred (0xE800007F)."

Searching gives me zilch. Anyone have an ideas? Everything is running the latest verison of iOS, etc., etc...

When Apple Added WiFi sync to iTunes and iOS5 in 2011 i started to get the following error.
"iTunes could not connect to this iPhone because an unknown error occurred (0xE00007F)."

It occurs many times per day and leaves many popup windows to close.

When iTunes was updated to iTunes 10.6.0.40 and iOS was updates to 5.1 (9B176) I started to also get the following error.
"An iPhone has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPhone, then try again."

It also occurs many times per day and leaves many popup windows to close.

This error has occurred across 2 Windows 7 clean installs and a clean windows 7 install on a new PC. It also occurred when I tested on the iMac at work. When I click sync on PC, Mac or iPhone the WiFi sync work correctly. The Scheduled sync also works intermittently.

This error also happens home and work WiFi network with completly different network hardware.

My interaction with Apple on this has been it is a problems with your install uninstall and reinstall iTunes to fix problem.

Since this problems is effecting the Executive staff and Apple might be finally taking this seriously any information I can provile please ask.

I think the reason this issue isn't bigger is that Wifi Sync is an opt-in feature, and plenty of the people that installed iOS5 were prompted to do so via iTunes, didn't read the feature updatea and simply carried on syncing via cable.

If Wifi-Sync were Opt Out (or more appropriately, the setting for "Open iTunes when this phone is connected" AND Wi-fi Sync were enabled, then there would be hundreds of thousands of complaints. Rather than the tens of thousands.

Note, the issue for both Mac and PC relates to iTunes or the iPhone looking for each other and somehow one not being able to find the other when they poll the network.

It happens frequently with an iPhone app "Pastebot" but in that case there is no error message, and the phone will appear and disappear from being visible on my mac. One thing Apple have always been terrible at, is networking devices.

iTunes could not connect to this iPhone because an unknown error occurred (0xE80007F).

I called AppleCare and complained regarding this error message. My call have been elevated to Senior Advaser level immidiatly. Apple have this error ID but for wired connection not for WiFi Sync. No solution from apple availble at this point. Engineering team investigate this issue. Stay tuned for ferther updates.
