iTunes to iPhone "Unknown error 0xE800007F"

Same problem here on OS X Lion, iTunes 10.5, iPhone 4, iOS 5.

This has only happened a few times. It's very spotty. It seems to be a bug in iTunes, not the phone. My phone sees wifi just fine. And if I see the error, then quit iTunes and start it up again, iTunes sees the phone.

I imagine Apple will have this fixed pretty soon now.

Same thing happened to me. My wifi connection has been spotty so i reconnected to hard wire internet and made sure laptop connected to power. disconnect cords and reconnect and second time sync worke fine.

Also FYI had a problem with ipad when updating. It went to black screen/apple icon and loading symbol and stayed there for an hour. did hard reboot. (press both power and close buttons for 15 seconds) and then on re-trying sync it went okay.

Try both those and see if it clears up.

OK the links and info provided have stopped the error from occurring, but i still cannot sync - itunes running, configured ok, iphone on the wifi, can't initiate a manual sync. Auto sync also doesn't work. Manual sync says it will resume when the computer is available. If I restart iTunes it will work fine, once...

Oh, it is just a matter of time until is will start to give you trouble again, it hapenned to me . You can stop the processes and delete any folders you want but they will start again and be created again. There is a bug in iTunes that needs to be fixed by Apple, these proposals are welcomed but they are only short term fixes and patchwork

The good thing at least in my case is that I can still do wifi sync manually, so this issue is inconvenient but not a big deal. But a fix will make me very happy

Same issue for me - 2 different iPhone 4 devices on the same PC - both occasionally pop this error up and this is the thread that came up when I searched, I hope there is a patch soon.

I had the same problem (0XE800007F) error and all I did was turn my Ipone off and back on again and it work for me.

Does anyone know if Apple Technicians actually look at these posts and would be aware of theses issues?
