Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Every since the OS 05 Iphone upgrade when I connect to my car bluetooth stereo there is no way to control the bluetooth volume. The side keys simply refuse to work, and the normal volume for the speakers don't work either. This is strictly an iPhone issue as I've used other devices on my car bluetooth stereo. Any ideas or thoughts?

tjene, I have exact same problem...were you ever able to fix it? i am hesitant to upgrade to iOS 6 because of all the trouble i had upgrading to iOS 5 with my Audi A6...
same problem for me AshWatts, did anything ever fix the problem....exact same problem with A6...connects then disconnects during a call...

iOS 6 with an iPhone 4 didn't help; however, I now have an iPhone 5 and that seems to be working.
Nothing resolved. My guess is that a low signal causes it to instantly drop calls, rather than keeping connection until signal strength is back. Would be helpful if Apple would address this bug....

It has been a long time with a frustrating problem...
i appreciate that comment so at least I will not try to get the iOS 6 upgrade to work on my Audi A6 and probably waste a lot of time...

Similar issues to what everyone is discussing. Previous iPhones/Blackberry's have had no issue with my '08 Audi A6. With the iPhone 5 I am getting frequent dropped signal for my audio streaming (tolerable but annoying) and the hands free is useless. It connects to the car with no issue at all - when I make or receive a call the audio is completely garbled - you cannot understand anything.
I called Apple Care - they told me to take the phone to the Apple Store which I know will be a waste of time.

I ordered one hoping it will fix my problem....but it sounds like it probably wont...
I dont think apple cares. maybe Audi does. but I don't know the right Audi contact to show this thread to...
It is so bad that my handsfree has now ironically turned into a driving hazard as I have to fumble around for my phone when the bluetooth disconnects from the car during a call...
Audi dealer upgraded my MMI interface (whatever that means) but it still didnt work.
I know it's extreme but I have thought about selling my Audi (and not changing my phone) whenever I get ****** off..
