Problem with bluetooth since OS 5 Upgrade

same exact issue i am having, just posted it as well. is your volume at max and sound all distorted and significantly louder then any other components of your stereo?

There seems to be an issue with Bluetooth in iOS5. It won't connect to iPads, macbooks, etc. Mine doies connect to my car (Audi A6) but looses connectivity continuously. Never had the problem before iOS5 on the same iPhone 4.

I have exactly the same issue - upgrade to os 5 and bluetooth connects but I hear nothing and they hear me cursing at apple. Have deleted and re-paired the bluetooth connection and the car works with other devices- will have to go back to OS4 if not fixed quickly - How do others be warned about this?

I have also been getting this problem with volume, not only with steaming music with my bluetooth headunit but the text/call audio just not playing at all..

some times the Car Audio volume is extreamly low, some times its normal... This is really ******* me off. The car is a 2012 Hilux is that helps.

Just bought my new Bose soundlink and cannot connect my iphone 4 OS 5.0 anyone have a suggestion please!!!!

Connection to carkit seems to work in most cases, but the kit just restarts after 20 seconds. Another 10 seconds later, i am able to hear the user i was calling again. Would love to repair this, with some tips :-)

Any news on this topic, or just i downgrade back to iOS4?

All, i had the same issue but then got it working by luck. Not being able to sync my bluetooth to the iPhone I had to make some calls from the car so I sync it to my blackberry, apparently that cleared out everything and then had no issues syncing back to the iPhone. So try syncing to another phone then back to your iPhone, it worked for me an have had no issues since. Hope it works for everyone

The other time I connect iPhone via the bluetooth in my VW Passat car the volume is reset to minimum.

I've got ro raise volume manually on the iPhone and then I get the sound in the car speakers. Next time it might work. I can't see when or why it works or not. IOS5 issue for sure.

iphone 4 using audi bluetooth module (q7) worked fine until upgrade to new operating system (5). now works fine on car startup; iphone is paired, address book visible, no issues. but as soon as a call is placed using hands free, or an incoming call is accepted, bluetooth cuts out after five seconds and call reverts to iphone itself. then while using iphone, bluetooth comes back on, cutting out iphone conversation momentarily before coming back on speaker. this happens every time without fail. apple suggests 1) restoring iphone to factory settings, or 2) checking with audi for a firmware update. former option no guarantee of doing much other than losing information; latter option is likely to be a wild goose chase trying to find someone at audi knowledgeable enough about compatibility of their bluetooth module and iphone operating system. far more likely to be a bug in the new iphone operating system. apple, hello?

Mine isn't a connection problem to the bluetooth in the car, but rather to my Plantronics earpiece. Connection before upgrade was at the push of a button. Now I can almost always get it connected...once I power down bluetooth on the phone AND "forget device" and try re-pairing. Needless to say, this is time-consuming and I certainly can't do it while driving. There's a problem with 5.0 software. Please resolve, Apple.

My problem is, since I upgraded to 5.0, my Iphone will not stay paired to my 2010 silverado. It pairs fine for a while after a pairing, nut apparently does not recognize device after a day or so. This is huge issue for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
