Siri NOT working... Siri-ously!
Siri listens to commands but just times out, wont give me a response. is there like a Siri status somewhere on the Apple site? so we know if others are being affected or if its just my handset

I had to call Sprint yesterday for Visual Voicemail not working and they said Apple was having problems with Siri
this is siri-ously not good!!
is it working for others?
its working again but doesnt seem to understand anything i say to it, i have to really talk slow and even then it makes stupid mistakes!!
My IPhone 4s says cannot connect network when using Siri, but my wifes works no problem. I am going to call Apple in the morning, I dont think it is a network problem.
You have to realize that Siri has been out for 2 days, it's in beta, and with 1 million+ iPhone 4S preorders, everyone and their mother is trying to use Siri. The Apple servers are probably just experiencing momentary overload. In a week, I'm sure it will improve leaps and bounds. Be patient!
I wonder why my wifes works fine and mine doesnt? They are both 64gb and on AT&T. I doubt that she connects to a diff server than me.
Visual voicemail not working -> try hard reset your phone
mine was not working at first, but after hard reset, it works
Anyone else notice if u ask Siri the usual questions like "call Andrew" or "what's the weather like today?" even at speed Siri understands u perfectly. Whereas if u ask it an unusual question u have to talk to it really slowly and even then it makes mistakes. It's almost as if apple have included the basic questions in different accents at different speeds so Siri can understand you perfectly, making it look like it works properly.
For example for the last five minutes I've been askin Siri what is 7foot 5 inches in centimetres? But Siri thinks I'm sayin: what is 745 inches in centimetres? NOT Good!
Do you realize the ramifications of this? I was in my car, expecting to use the "Call person name, mobile" command and I could no longer do handsfree dialing. It said the "network was unavailable".
Siri now apparently requires network connectivity to do basic voice commands. It also requires Siri's servers to stay online 100% of the time.
This is going to cause atleast a few car crashes due to this loss of capability. I want my old handsfree dialing back so I can keep my eyes on the road!
Apple really messed up here. It should revert back to the old voice control engine in the event that SIRI is down.
i think siri needs to be trained, otherwise theres alot of hit n miss with it!!
there's a massive difference between the way i say bus and boss!!
While driving you should concentrate on driving and not talking on the phone. You are putting other people's life in danger here by talking on the phone while driving.

Got it right for me the very first time. You need to work on your accent.
