Hi Everyone,

I just got a brand new iPhone 4s given to me at work.

It paired up very easily and quickly to my Centrios Blue tooth speaker phone and my wife's Jabra Cruise speaker phone. The problem I'm having is similar to those of others. Siri does not understand me if I use a bluetooth speaker. If I speak directly into the microphone, it's great and soo acurate.

Is there anyone out there that has answers as to how to improve the accuracy?

I'm running:

ios 6.4(10A403)

Model MD234C

Modem Firmware: 3.0.04

I've copped the same as everyone else here it seems, I have a Dension car dock for iPhone in my car which reckons it could work with Siri, now I can activate Siri and he speaks to me over the radio (which is how I listen to everything on the phone) but Siri can't seem to understand what I am trying to say, but if I'm on the phone with someone they understand me perfectly. Now if the iPhone could connect to two Bluetooth devices at once I would simply use a hands free mic (like a blue ant mic or something like that) but it can't seem to accept two connections either. The only real benefit I can see in Siri is for use while driving so if Apple want to create a truly spectacular product then they should address this issue, maybe make a car kit for the iPhone that Siri does work with or else have a list of supported car kits which people can purchase knowing Siri will work.

My old samsung galaxy s1 had an assistant called vlingo which worked so much better than Siri, including what they called word monitoring which meant I would simply say "hey computer" (something that could be changed by the user) and the assistant would interact with you, no need to press a button at all... Now this is something that would be a MASSIVE benefit as far as I am concerned.

My situation is as follows:

*First off, this is based on my own experience to date using my iPhone 5 in my car (Lexus LS460).

*BT music streaming from iPhone 5 to my car's audio system works fine.

*I can make calls via BT in the car as long as I manually dial it on the phone.

*Can make calls via BT if I use the car's voice command system as well.

*Everything seems to work through the BT interface, EXCEPT, I can no longer use Siri to dial phone calls. It automatically "disconnects" the instant that it tries to initiate the call. Used to love this feature as it provided a truly hands free solution. Also, in my opinion, Siri provides a superior voice recognition system.

For the record, I'm using IOS 7.0.6, latest available, to my knowledge. We also tried my wife's iPhone 5 (same software) to no avail...same results.

REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO A QUICK RESOLUTION FROM APPLE. THIS APPEARS TO BE AN EASY COMPATIBILITY ISSUE.

Problem with 2007 LexusES350. I turned off Siri and had the same problem with direct voice dialing via pushing the button. I have done the deleting on both phone and vehicle- same problem. No issues till IOS 8. (8.02). After hours of obsessively trying to fix, I did notice a few issues:

1) on occasion, the phone takes over the entire navigation system screen which the Bluetooth is combined with and I have to manually hang up.

2) On occasion the phone interface on the car show the Bluetooth the connection with 3 bars, but say "out of range".

Last oddity- late yesterday night after deleting all Bluetooth devices from the phone and vehicle Bluetooth registration profile, I did make several successful calls through Siri. This morning back to the same problem. Call terminated by network.

I hope this bug will be recognized and addressed by Apple quickly. I can connect with a a ten year old Motorola but not with my iPhone 6 Plus. BTW I tried this with an updated 5S as well as an iPhone 6 and they all have the same problem -So the problem isn't the individual phone or vehicle.
