Push email does not work (iCloud)

Since the update to icloud the push email does not work anymore. Im only talking about the me.com adress no Yahoo oder other Emails. I didnt changed the Mail settings and pushing mails worked fine before the update to icloud.

Example:

When i switched on the phone in the morning the mails i received during the night immediately got pushed to the iphone. That doesnt work anymore. It only receives the mails when i switch to the mail app.

Any suggestions anyone?!? 😟

Im using newest iOS 5 with an iPhone 4S and migrated my old me.com account to iCloud.

Personably I think we are all wasting our time trying to make this work.

My past experience w/ Apple is that they are going to fix it at the next update

Note: there was a lot of problems w/ Apple tv when it came out and they fix them all w/ updates

I cloud was a major software very complex and there are problems, we will just have to be patient

Good idea, I just sent in the following text:

Hi there,

three days ago my Emails don't get pushed anymore to my iPhone. I tried everything suggested in the corresponding support document but it didn't help. Seems like you are having some server issues with migrated MobileMe accounts. Please fix this, it's really annoying.

You can do better!

I am going to chime in again here on a couple of things...

I've noticed a few posts where some of you have two devices, and when you turn iCloud off on one device, the push works fine on the other. But some of us, like me, only have one device: the iPhone, and this device does not, and has NEVER worked since the inception of iCloud (around October 12th).

I have been working with an Apple tech over email since the end of October, and one of the tests he had me perform was to set up a test email account. This test email account on iCloud also failed to push emails to my phone.

Apple finally approved for me to get a new phone (at that time they probably thought the issue was with the phone and not iCloud). The new phone ALSO stopped pushing.

I have also noticed posts from people who have the brand new 4S, people who did not migrate from Mobile Me, and people who live outside of the US that also have this problem.

So.... in my humble opinion, setting up a new iCloud email address will not work, a new phone will not work, the brand new 4S will not work, and moving to another country will not work. I have performed a variation of every single "work-around" listed on this thread, as well as many, many other tests suggested by my Apple tech, and so far nothing works for more than about 3 days.

I'm not trying to be a bummer here, and I continue to hope that someone on this thread will come up with settings that work - but it's a major Apple iCloud issue, and Apple better start figuring this out. Maybe they knew iCloud wasn't working properly, and this is why they offered it for free for the first year!

Everything is so random you can't actually come out with a solution... For example even when I removed the iCloud account from one of the two devices nothing whereas other people reported this worked for them... I just created a new iCloud account and push finally worked. I m speechless to be honest...

By the way I submitted a feedback as well... It's tragic to pay 1,5k euro per 6 months/year acquiring the latest apple gadgets (including the apple Care service) and have that kind of treatment from support

Just appears to be completely random then. Weird.

As I say, literally the second I removed my iCloud accounts from both my iPad 2 and my iPhone 4S, then re-added the iCloud account to my iPhone 4S only, it started working flawlessly and it has continued to work flawlessly for well over two months now.

For the record, my iCloud account was setup from new. It was not a MobileMe account ported over.
