Is it just me or my iOS5-updated devices tend to "forget" my wifi?

Hello all.

Ever since I upgraded both my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 to iOS5, I notice a little "oddity".

Both devices tend to internittently, loose connection to my home AirPort wifi network. I have to manually re-conect them by choosing my wireless network.

And it seems to be the same at work/office, both devices also tend to "forget" my office wireless setup.

Anyone experiencing the same "problem"?

Thanks and cheers

I was having an issue with my fairly new iphone 4s not automatically connecting to my home wifi. Three other iphone users in the house were not having this problem. I would have to manually connect each time I got home and then again after my phone went into sleep mode. VERY FRUSTRATING!! This problem started suddenly one day without making any changes so it was very odd to me.

I did all that Apple told me to do and nothing fixed the problem. I was absolutely certain I had a defective phone. After doing some research here is what FIXED my problem.

I reset my Netgear router and updated the router firmware. (I don't think this fixed it but needed to be done)

I CHANGED THE CHANNEL OF MY ROUTER (under wireless settings) to channel 9 instead of auto. (I just picked a number)

So ultimately I think the problem was interference on the channel that my router was picking.

Good luck and I hope my resolution may help you too.
