Outlook 2010 SP1 Sync with the iCloud

Problem: Contacts do not sync. Calendar Items sync. They do not appear in iCloud.com or on my Iphone.

It appears items sync from the Iphone to the iCloud and to Outlook. The problem is items syncing from Outlook to the iCloud.

I rebooted the PC thinking it migh jump start the sync from Outlook to the iCloud.

I also tried unchecking Contacts in iCloud PC Control Panel, applied the change and then reverted the change hoping that woud jump start the sync from Outlook.

There are no errors.

iCloud Control Panel is installed

Windows 7 64 bit version SP1

Outlook 2010 Sp1is install (32 bit Version)

Outlook Itunes Addin is running

Outlook iCloud Addin is running

Outlook PST Maintenance

PST was compacted

Ran ScanPST with fix option to eliminate any PST issues

Itunes Configuration Information

Itunes is not configured to sync Contacts or Calendar

iCloud Windows Control Panel

Is set to sync Contacts and Calendar

Iphone 4 is set to sync with iCloud.

Any ideas would be appreciated

iPhone 4S, Win7Pro32, Outlook2010, calendar sync worked for a few weeks and then went off. Used the oldest trick: reinstallation. Now sync works now fine all the possible ways.

Here's the score:

-close Outlook

-update to latest iOS on 4S

-remove icloud for windows control panel

-open Outlook

-check that icloud add-in is gone (under options)

-close Outlook

-download and reinstall iCloud control panel for Windows (2.1.1.3)

-setup the iCloud to use Outlook (I chose the complete option)

-Open Outlook and see the calendars.

A test:

-Inserted an event 'test' to 4S calendar: Outlook calendar updated in 11 secs

-removed the 'test' event from Outlook: 4S calendar updated in 55 secs

-made an event on iCloud website: Outlook calendar updated in 40 secs, 4S calendar updated in 2 minutes

-removed the event from 4S: Outlook updated in 11, iCloud website in 12 secs

Can't complain, one of the very reasons why I went for iPhone to begin with.

Hi!

If you're using windows, go into your control panel, make sure icons are large icons, not "category". Find the icloud icon and right click, open ,sign in if necessary and check the envelope to sync outlook with icloud. This worked great for me and I have Outlook 2007.
