iCloud time zone bug / Calendar mismatch with PC time zone

I have my PC running Win 7 in UTC-3 Buenos Aires time, and iCloud (Firefox7) is in the same time zone (Argentina). But when I enter an appointment in theCalendar app in iCloud, after I hit "OK" it shifts one hour back andshows in iCloud in the wrong time, pushed back by one hour.

The only way to solve this seems to be to set up iCloud in the Santiago(Chile) time zone which is UTC-4. But of course this makes the events in iCloudto be out of sync with the rest of the devices (Iphone, Ipad).

This behavior happens whether I check or uncheck the "Enable Timesupport" option in the Calendar advanced preferences tab.

I have already installed and uninstalled the iCloud control panel in the PC,with no luck.

It looks like a nasty bug.

I tried to contact apple support, but it seems I have to pay to report this.Having suffered mobile me since its creation, I don't think that paying toreport a malfunction should be necessary...

iCloud for Windows' calendar sync issue has raised it's ugly head again for people in Australian Western Standard time zone (at least). As of 1am Sunday 25 October, events synchronised by iCloud for Windows between Outlook's calendar and icloud's calendar are misaligned by 1 hour. Events before 25 October 1am syncronise correctly. You'd think that it would be simple having the time zone set correctly on all devices, and living in a part of the world that doesn't observe daylight saving. iCloud for Windows thinks Windows has changed time zone, and there's nothing I can do to tell it otherwise. The sad part is that the forums have chatter about this bug for the last 4 years, and it's still kaput.

I am having this same issue, and no matter what I try, including changing everything to another timezone is not working. This has become so much of an issue for me (a small business owner) that I am seriously considering changing my phones and tablets to devices that don't require icloud to sync. The most annoying thing is that it all worked fine before the daylight savings trial some years ago. Why can Apple not fix this once and for all???
