i still have my old iphone 4 thats has got the ios 5 firmware on it which works fine also my ipad 2 works fine with the b & w zepplin air. the iphone 4s cutts off after a few seconds of playing, ive reset the iphone 4s and network. also updated the firmware on the zepplin with no joy still cutting off, can anyone help with this problem or does anyone have the same problem

I don't understand but it works now. 5.0.1 release version must have fixed it as I have not changed anything else in the configuration. Been playing an audiobook for 30 minutes and music for a good hour with a few track changes in between. Once I ran to the laundry (out of Wi-Fi range), came back and it resumes playing just fine.
I'm sorry it didn't fix it for everyone but "something" was done. Weird.
Maybe it hold connection longer but still !!!!not fixed!!!! -.- ...
And I take it back again. It played for over an hour. I stopped the music. Now I tried again and it's back to the old behavior. Max. 1 minute, then all goes wonky and is gone.
i think nothing was fixed for this error in the latest update. We have to wait for next update...............
After updating to OS 5.0.1, the airplay problem went away for a little while while I was simply doing airplay. this was through an airport express. the problem starts, however when while using airplay I also try to use Wi-Fi on the iPhone. If I use any data transfer system on the iPhone while using airplay, the entire network crashes just like before. I am going to contact Apple and let them know that this is a repeatable problem if you follow a certain set of steps. While I don't mind airplay cutting out if I am out of range, I do not like that this crashes the entire network when it happens. It is also absolutely not an issue with any other airplay device in my house; only the iPhone 4S.
Unfortunately the problem with the Zeppelin Air is still there ...

I am beginning to think that the problem here is not with how your router is configured, but how much data is moving across the connection. It is strange, however, that an overload of data would cause a crash of all wireless access points.
nope, it is the iPhone4s. The router and the network are not the problem. All of this has worked fine for years prior to iPhone4s.
I should amend what I said before to say that it is possibly too much data coming from the iPhone 4S. I have no problems with airplay on all of my other devices, including a latest generation iPod touch running the same OS.
I can confirm those statements.

Well, seems like the same situation for me. Updated to 5.0.1 today and when I got home I immediately tried to connect to my iHome iW1 AirPlay speaker. It connected and I played without any drop outs for at least 40 minutes. Then I had to leave. When I got back, I tried to play more music and it immediately started cutting out.
Fix this Apple!
New airport firmware!!!! Someone please update I can't till tomorrow!! News please.
