just had to rename the file - it is imported with the date - 5/7/14 - which outlook doesn't like

Another alternative to get your contacts name and emails from iCloud is to use http://exportmycontacts.com. It supports, by now, only names and emails, but it exports from several sources to CSV.

I am trying to export 1 contact, and I have read & tried:

Then I select "*" and gets this picture:

I "export vCard" and either nothing happen or it goes into hiding somewhere.

A global search on the PC does not find it anywhere.

All I want is to easily include in emails, and export iCloud contact, notes, and calendar items as needed.

Help please.

FYI recently after a zillions years I have switched from MS Outlook to iCloud for my contacts, notes, and calendar so they will all sync between iPhone & iPad, and be accessible through iCloud & sync'd on my PC.

I was forced to switch when Apple changed to iOS 9 in September-ish 2015 time frame and took away my ability to sync my Notes...
