Computers are no longer "optional".
Maybe when it is too late, you may just notice, then on the other hand maybe not.
Right, but we're getting off topic.

When we had a Save As function, a dialog box would open at the path of the current file, and all I would have to do is rename or extend the name of the file. When I duplicate then save in Lion, the path is set at the documents folder and I then need to navigate back to the folder of the file I am adjusting and type in the filename from scratch. I don't see the point in taking all these extra steps when Save As was already the better solution. I hope this is corrected in Mountain Lion. When 10.7.4 was released many of the bugs that annoyed my workflow were fixed. Perhaps this feature will be seen as an inefficient work around and Mountain Lion will see us smiling again.
I was told how to run a fix to resolve my problem of my Duplicate and Save feature defaulting to the documents folder. Problem in my OS. It is now fixed and working as it was designed to. Yes it is another step, but I like the way it works now.
Don't leave that vague, if it is DefaultFolder or some other solution share it.

Dear Apple,
I do not like no Save As.
I do not like it Apple I am.
I do not like it here or there.
I do not like it ANYWHERE.
I want the one-step dance step to Save.
Please Apple I am.
Please give us back the easy way to Save as.
You have to wait till July for Mountain Lion for the Save As... feature.
