Mini Mac / LG E2350V Problem

I have a recently purchased Mini Mac and an LG (Model E2350V) that was working. I decided to change the resolution of the display to a lower resolution. The monitor stopped working for the Mini Mac. How can I reset to a workable resolution without a display on the Mini Mac? It is OK if I reset the Mini Mac to the state it was in when it was shipped to me.
