iPhone 4s location wrong... Why?

My location on my 4s is completely out, it says I'm about 30 miles away from where I actually am. It does this 90% of the time! And I'm not sure what I can do to fix it. My iPad 2 and other family members iPhone 4 on the same wifi etc. doesn't have any prOblems with this.

Tonight my broadband was down so though good time to try sort my postion problem,so, I disabled my location services for 5 minutes and then re enabled - position was spot on at home 🙂 I then turned of my phone for a couple of minutes and back on again and hey I am still at home 🙂

My broadband is now back up and I am still showning my postion as home, just thought I better reboot my phone before posting this and, gave it a minute as said "cannot determine location" , and .......... yipee still at home 🙂

Will see if it is still working correctly in the morning.

Same problem here, have owned 4s for a couple or so weeks, this morning my gps location defaulted to Lubiana, Slovenia - I live half way round the world in Auckland, New Zealand. Turning phone off and back on doesn't fix the problem. What's causing this problem? It's been over a month since the original post in this thread, pretty bloody annoying issue if people have been putting up with it for that long!

Well it now seems to be finding my location on maps a little better but very slow and always starts about 30 miles off. But yesterday went to switch on my iPhone after charging and it wouldn't verify sim pin code just hung there so I did a reset and all was fine until 4am this morning when my 7am alarm went off!!! when I checked the time and date settings which are set to automatic it thought I was in Singapore! Rather than Ireland! When I put it to manual it selected Dublin Ireland but turning to automatic and back to Singapore! This morning I reset it to automatic andhey presto Ireland pops up.. But now I can't rely on it :(
