missing addresses in Motorola SLVR / RAZR

I'm using a Motorola SLVR L7 (it has virtually identical software as the RAZR line) and I've successfully used iSync to get my contacts from Address Book into the phone. However, the address, city, state, zip are all blank in the phone, even though all my Address Book contacts have work/home addresses filled in. How do I get all the info, not just phone numbers and email addresses into the SLVR?

(I'm using the latest Mac OX 10.4 and latest iSync 2.1.1 and latest Address Book 4.0. I've tried browsing the phone and card via Bluetooth and USB, but there doesn't seem to be a folder for contacts or vCards.)

There is a work-around re: addresses, but it's a bit of a pain in the butt.

Export your contacts from your Address Book as V-cards (to the desktop is easiest), then transfer those V-cards to your phone via Bluetooth File Exchange. The transfer will create new entries on your phone, thus you'll have 2 of everything (if you transfer everything), so you have to delete all the phone entries withOUT the addresses (or you can clear the phone address book before you start transferring V-cards).

It appears that after you do this, you can go back to using iSync, but I only tested it with one entry, The first time I used iSync after transferring a V-card, it added double entries to my Address Book, but it only did it the first time, and left everything untouched after that, but that not the best test sample.

As I said, it's not the simplest work around (Apple and Motorola really should fix this, it can't be that hard), but addresses and birthdays with be in your phone.

Well, I spoke to Motorola Tech Support about this (and other SLVR problems I'm having). Their position is that it's a problem with iSync, so it's up to Apple to fix it. Could be true, since the Windows software seems to not have this problem.

Anyway, it looks like it's up to Apple to figure out how to make this work, if they even care.

BTW, I also found out that since my phone was intended for the German retail market, Motorola won't honor the warranty in the US. So, beware of buying these phones off of eBay. On the bright side, that means I don't have to worry that flashing the firmware (to fix my Bluetooth problems) will invalidate the warranty.

Sorry that didn't work JCZ. Are you on Verizon? I've heard they've basically disabled Bluetooth.

John, it probably can be fixed at the iSync/Address Book end, but the address book on the SLVR/RAZR isn't helping much with individual entries for every number/email. Some people in my phone have 6 or 7 entries. It would be nice if Apple and Motorola got on the same page.
