After upgrading to 5.0.1 my iPhone is draining the battery even faster! Anyone else seeing this problem?

Same problem here. I was having battery problems before with my iPhone 4s, but I had them under a bit of control with turning off location services and such. Updated to 5.0.1 yesterday as I was excited to use my iPhone as it's meant to be used, with the features offered to me. I have only listened to music for about an hour today and I am down to 83% from a full charge just 3 hours ago. This is a mobile device. I shouldn't have to be tethered to a computer all day just to keep a charge on my phone.

I updated to 5.0.1 yesterday and my battery life tanked. It was better before I updated. Since this (4S) is my first iPhone I don't know how long the battery life should really be, but my phone drained about 75% of its life in a few hours. I also noticed poor 3G connections where at one time was very good. I also noticed a couple of my apps acting unresposive. Not sure if it's related to the updated ios.

Anyone know if there is an easy way to go back to 5.0 without reformatting the phone.

I downgraded 10 hours ago by setting the iPhone into DFU Mode. You need to download iOS5 before, then do a restore with iTunes by clicking ALT and restore at the same time. Then choose the path to your iOS5 download and here we go. It works as long as the iOS 5 is still signed from apple.

EDIT: iOS 5 isnt signed anymore, means it wont work....

6 hours, competely dead after update and full charge. neither took or placed any calls, sent a few texts, received several emails. All but two location services are off. This is totally not exceptable. Even BLACKBERRY is better than this. This being the most expensive phone on the market it friggin well should work as advertised. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to advertise something for sale that you aren't/can't deliver. I think it's called fraud. With a name like Apple, you'd think someone would want to protect the reputation, not kill it. Two failed phone launches in a row. Can you fix this please....
