To Apple supports that are monitoring this discussion
I live in Indonesia and I purchased my iPhone 4S from Australia. I've been using it for 2 weeks flawlessly and i updated with 5.0.1, then all the problems start to happen.
1. battery drop
2. unstable signal ( from signal loss, searching and no service )
3. invalid SIM out of the blue ( happened like twice a day )
These issue rendered my iPhone useless. I'm using a lot of function from the iPhone eg. the corporate calendar for scheduling, VPN and many other things, whereeas those function require connectivity and in this case the 5.0.1 rendered my conectivity useless.
The bad things that iPhone support is handled by local carrier that partnered with apple which they are not aware with this matter and iPhone 4S is not sold yet in Indonesia. Tried to contact Austrialian support but the line is always enggaged.
help!!
