"Unable to verify account information" trying to use Hotmail on iPhone 4 with iOS5

Is anybody else having the same problem?

I'm using an iOS5 iPhone 4 and trying to use Hotmail. I enter my password and everything correctly and it keeps coming up with the "unable to verify account information" message. I've reset my network settings but that didn't help, either. Does anybody know a solution to this? I'd really appreciate any assistance.

Have you tried removing the account from your iPhone and then readding it?

ok. had the same problem, but all you need to do is deactivate the two step security verification in your Hotmail account and everything will work fine.
